Full Job Description

First point of contact for the Diabetes & Endocrinology service at our busy out patient reception. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team made up of Consultants, Specialist Nurses,Specialist Dietitians and Specialist Podiatrists, Admin/Clerical, Psychology and Management staff.

Hours to be discussed at interview

· First point of contact either by telephone or face to face for patients with regard to Diabetes, Endocrine and Diabetes Podiatry appointments.

· The post holder will be required to provide reception cover for out of hours clinics approximately 2-3 times per month. This is normally until 7.00pm latest

· Provision of patient appointments utilising PAS and SystmOne.

· Data entry maintenance of patient records on PAS and SystmOne.

· To work as part of the wider admin clerical team within Diabetes & Endocrinology to provide support and cover as and when required.
