Full Job Description

Our Ophthalmology Department provides tertiary services to the population of Northeast London and works collaboratively with other ophthalmology teams at the other major hospitals in London.

We are currently seeking a motivated PCC. This is an important post within the department, and we are hoping to recruit an innovative and committed colleague who is keen to work with the wider team to support the ophthalmology service at The Royal London Hospital.

The post-holder forms part of a team of 5 administrators and covers paediatric and adult ophthalmology services.

The service is supported by an experienced Senior PCC, Service Manager and Service Delivery Manager., The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an effective administrative and secretarial service to the paediatric and adult ophthalmology consultants and their teams based at the Royal London hospital. He/she will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team, internal departments and external agencies to ensure continuity in achieving excellence in patient care.
