Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number ofpermanent full time Band 3 Administrators (37 1/2 hours per week) in the Patient Contact Centre. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team of 21 staff responsible for the registration of confidential patient data, management of referrals in to the department's clinical system, negotiating and rescheduling appointments, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, dealing with email enquiries and liaising with patients and clinical professionals over the telephone.
The team work to a pre-published rota which includes 08:00-16:00, 08:30-16:15 and 07:30-15:30 shifts. We are currently working a hybrid working pattern of 2 days working from home and 3 days working in the office, which the Trust holds the right to change in the future. Any contract offered is not a working from home contract., The work base is at Lotus House, Victoria Street in Northampton; however, there may be opportunities to work at other locations with specific teams.
You must have excellent computer skills, good organisational and communication skills; have the ability to work effectively and proactively as part of a team and under your own initiative and cope well under pressure.
Main duties include, incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, cancelling appointments, registering referrals on to our S1 clinical system, triaging referrals, overall referral management and outgoing and incoming post
The service is open Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00 and you will be expected to work on a flexible rotational basis.
