About the role

This role sits within our Telephone and Referral Centre (TARC) team. A key part of the role is to make sure patients can access the support they need.

Some key duties include booking appointments via our patient database system within contractual targets, answering the main phone, and monitoring messages for risk. Alongside this you will have a range of other administrative duties.

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) with shift working within office hours (8am-8pm), Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. We'll aim to resolve the reported issue and we'll use your feedback to improve the quality of our ads.

This position is ideal for someone who has some experience in a busy office environment with admin responsibilities. You will need to be highly organised and able to work well under pressure as we are a large and extremely busy service.

It is important you can work at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy when using patient databases systems. You will also need a professional telephone manner and ability to manage difficult situations with tact and empathy.
