Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a band 4 patient Flow Coordinator posts at Complex discharge team Whipps Cross University Hospital site. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work with the complex Discharge team . If you possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, good communication and IT skills, have the ability to work under pressure have a specialist interest in developing the service we provide then please apply.

  • To support the Complex Discharge Team in facilitating patient flow and effective discharge. To prepare regular and detailed reports on medically optimised and delayed discharges for senior managers, consultants and as required, project board meetings and other senior level discussions. To support the Complex Discharge Coordinators and the MDT in facilitating safe discharges. To undertake urgent discharge activities as required., Although this position is a 12 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 12 months.
