Full Job Description

An exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity has arisen within the Ophthalmology Patient Pathway Team for a part time 22.5 hours Band 2 Patient Pathway Assistant until 31st March 2025., The main purpose of this role is to efficiently fill Ophthalmology Pre-Assessment clinics with the understanding of clinical urgency and Referral To Treatment Targets. Responsibility in the updating of accurate and prompt patient pathway events on all appropriate administration systems is essential.

The post holder will provide support to the team and assist in a wide range of clerical duties within the department.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills with the general public and be able to work under pressure in a busy team environment.
