Full Job Description

We require an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our team. The post is contracted for 37.5 hours a week covering office hours i.e., Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, though there is flexibility with start and finish times and days worked.

The team is responsible for overseeing quality and governance for the Trust. You will support work for Patient Safety and Clinical Effectiveness teams. Excellent IT and administration skills are required to input and extract data from Trust wide systems and local databases. A creative approach to presenting information is also beneficial as a vital part of our role as a Quality & Safety Team is ensuring that learning from incidents and good practice can be shared across all teams. It is a busy and varied role, so we are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working team player who can ensure excellent communication and organisational skills, sustain quality in their document production, manage their own workload on a day-to-day basis, and prioritise work to meet deadlines. The ability to maintain a calm, positive and flexible approach to your work is essential.

The post holder will predominantly work from home although the team work from Kings Court 2 one day a week and there will be occasions when the post holder will be required to work from multiple Trust sites., As a key part of our team you will be responsible for the administration of our Quality and Governance processes. Tracking, monitoring and liaising with key people to ensure that processes run smoothly and deadlines are met. In order to do this, you will need to be an excellent communicator and networker, getting to know the clinical teams across the Trust to support them to input and be part of quality and governance systems and processes.

Our work includes, managing investigations into serious incidents, reviewing incidents, and requesting further reports if needed, championing quality improvements and supporting teams to make positive changes, monitoring and tracking processes such as audits and reviews.
