Patient Safety Administrator

Are you passionate about improving safety for our patients and making a positive difference to those who care for them? This exciting opportunity has arisen to support the expansion of Navigo's Patient Safety Team. The team oversee the implementation of patient safety governance processes across all services, including incident management, mortality surveillance, patient safety investigations and Coronial processes. The team work with services to identify learning from patient safety incidents and provide assurance of improvements both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will support the team to promote a patient safety culture across the organisation in line with Patent Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) principles. The post holder will undertake a wide range of administrative duties in a role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be highly organised, flexible, dynamic and able to adhere to total confidentiality at all times., The post holder will work within the Patient Safety Team which includes the Head of Operational Quality and Governance, the Patient Safety Manager, and the Incident Lead. Main duties will include arranging and minuting meetings; drafting letters; updating records; preparing information for reports; monitoring the central email account and bringing emails to the attention of the appropriate people in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be highly organised, resilient, methodical, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. They must be highly professional and able to maintain a pleasant approach whilst understanding the serious nature of this role.
