Patient Safety Manager

Strategic Leadership, providing strategic direction and leadership to the Trusts Patient Safety activities. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain proactive and effective working relationships with Non-Executive Directors, Executive Directors, Commissioners, staff at all levels within the Trust, and other local health organisations. Support and Guidance, be visible and accessible, providing lead support and guidance to healthcare professionals, managers, and staff in all aspects of patient safety. Incident Management oversee the Trust's Serious Incidents requiring investigation process, ensuring a coordinated, systematic, transparent, and focused approach. Learning from Mortality, manage the Learning from Mortality process, ensuring the Trust learns from every incident. Duty of Candour lead the Duty of Candour process, promoting transparency and honesty in patient care. Confidential Inquiries overseeing the National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Homicide and external
reviews, including Domestic Homicide Reviews. Manage the staff within the Patient Safety function, fostering a supportive and effective team environment.
