Full Job Description

Duties will include:- To answer the telephone, incorporating switchboard, in a polite and courteous manner at all times. To make appointments, change appointments and arrive patients for all clinicians. To inform patients of test results in accordance with the practice protocol. To review and update patients address details, telephone numbers and email addresses when appropriate. To answer any patients queries that arise during the day-to-day work of the business. To ensure all new patient registrations are completed on receipt from the patient and entered on to the system. To ensure online registrations are completed in accordance with the business protocol. To retrieve patient medical records when requested and to re-file when necessary. To ensure all faxes are distributed to their destination in an efficient manner. To scan and code all correspondence for the practice. To cover duties for other staff members that may arise due to an absence, sickness, annual leave. To act as chaperone
