Patisserie Production Assistant - Moreton-in-Marsh

The Patisserie Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the production of our award-winning cakes, biscuits and puddings, is carried out efficiently, safely and to the highest standard at all times., Reports to: Head Pastry Chef FOOD To execute all products as per company specifications To handle and treat the food as if it were your own To execute all food preparation in a timely and professional manner To adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association To contribute to the award-winning standard of all Daylesford Organic products OPERATIONS To ensure that all ingredients are prepared, weighed and measured ready for production To ensure cleaning rotas are adhered to at all times To complete all tasks efficiently within the timeframe given NUMBERS To work safely and efficiently to ensure that all daily orders are completed above the required fulfilment rate To minimise wastage levels as much as possible To comply with the Bakery internal and external audit requirements To aid the Head Pastry Chef in the fulfilment of the production unit's annual financial/budgetary targets PEOPLE To participate in the effective communication amongst the team regarding any changes to recipes, procedures and/or operational needs, and amongst the company and other customers regarding any quality issues/shortages in the required timescale

SALARY: 11.90 p/h (overtime paid at same rate) HOURS: 45H - Monday-Friday working pattern (9-hour shifts falling between the working hours of 5:00 and 17:00). Weekend work as and when required (during peak periods, usually in the lead-up to Christmas and shared rotationally amongst the team),
