Full Job Description

This Payments Manager will sit within the authorised push payment fraud (APP) team, supporting industry delivery of regulatory change and operational processes within the APP environment. The role will be focussed on the development of their strategic fraud intelligence platforms, managing CRs and the delivery of UAT. Your maing responsabilities will be:

  • Development and implementation of change requests for enhancements of the SSI Platform (BPS & Indemnities services)
  • Act as UK Finance lead for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), member UAT coordination & testing for the SSI Platform.
  • Engagement with development team of the company´s third-party provider for the SSI Platform on change request requirements as required
  • Engagement with the company´s appointed Solutions Architect on the broader technology work within the company where appropriate., Initiatives and proof of concepts delivery.
  • Key support for delivery of initiatives and proof of concepts (PoCs) relating to APP
  • fraud
  • Ensure initiatives and PoCs are well defined with objectives, success criteria, scope and resourcing estimations documented.
  • Planning and execution of participant meetings relating to initiatives and PoCs
  • Coordination of documentation to support the delivery of initiatives and PoCs including legal documentation
  • Economic Crime PSB, EC PSB subsidiary Panels, Working Groups & industry initiatives.
  • Provide support to the management of working Groups and industry initiatives,
  • in the authorised fraud space. Deliverables include:
  • Organising meetings.
  • The production and oversight of meeting documentation including minutes and ad-hoc updates to stakeholders as required.
  • Member & Stakeholder admin support
  • Action management by proactively ensuring actions are delivered and
  • closed. System Support.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with other departments
  • across the company (including Membership, Legal and CTO office), members and other relevant external stakeholders.
  • Regular engagement with representatives from across our industry membership.

    Education to degree-level or equivalent.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to plan and prioritise own
  • workload to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Able to liaise with a range of stakeholders. Recognising the need to adapt
  • language and style to fit different audiences across all forms of communication (email, phone and face to face).
  • Recognising potential issues/risk and escalating where required, asking. for guidance on unfamiliar areas and seeking further information if necessary.
