The role
If you are an experienced payroll professional, looking to further your career within a leading boarding school then we have an exciting opportunity for you. Join Benenden School as a Payroll Administrator and play a key role in the smooth running of our payroll operations.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will assist the Payroll Manager with the management of all aspects of the payroll function, including pensions reporting. You will help ensure that each stage of the payroll process is actioned accurately and in a timely manner and will assist with the input of key payroll data and maintenance of payroll systems, as well as help with payments to HMRC, pension providers and other statutory bodies.
About you
You will need strong MS Excel and excellent management skills, as well as an expert working knowledge of payroll software packages. Previous payroll experience is essential. Experience in a school role and knowledge of iTrent would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will be a hardworking and flexible individual, who is able to adapt to changing priorities and is willing to assist other roles within the team and step in to provide cover during absence or assistance during busy periods.
