Payroll Administrator, We're currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our HR Shared Services Payroll & Pensions Team. This role will be a Subject Matter Expert in payroll administration and will work collaboratively within the team to process the payroll data for both weekly and monthly paid colleagues., As a Payroll Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Answering complex queries from all stakeholders effectively and within service level agreement.
- Processing of payroll data for allocated payroll within the agreed timetable deadlines
- Upskilling, knowledge share and cross-training of team members to enable them to cover for holidays and any peak workloads e.g. TUPEs.
- Escalating any concerns to the senior or team manager, so that appropriate discussions can take place with the business as per the terms of the service level agreement.
- Supporting pensions and other shared services functions as required.
- Periodically testing and demonstrating results in respect of system changes to ensure the HR system remains compliant in respect of payroll.
Previous experience within Payroll administration. - Strong communicator verbally and written.
- Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly a high level of Excel knowledge.
- Strong attention to details, with an ability to work on complex issues within tight timescales.
