Full Job Description

Bedford Borough Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll & HR Transactions individual to join their Transactions team on a fixed term basis. This role will provide an efficient and effective HR and Payroll administrative service to the Council, Schools and external clients, for the employee lifecycle from contracts all the way through to leavers.

You will have experience of high volume payroll processing, ideally with good knowledge of HR documentation requirements and preparation. Sound experience of working within a team, as well as dealing with internal and external customers via telephone and email is essential, along with consistently high levels of accuracy and customer service.
