Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Payroll Officer for 25 hours per week.

In this role, you will be working closely with Finance, HR and ICS colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll service. You will be a dynamic, motivated, and organised Payroll Professional who is experienced with managing payroll processes. As an individual with good numerical ability and an eye for detail, you will be keen to make a significant contribution to the performance and achievements of the Payroll Team.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in:

Statuary payments
Monthly reconciliation
Processing BACS payments
Following Local government conditions of services
Local Government Pension
Expenses and benefits

It would also be an advantage if you have knowledge of Itrent and Business Objects.

We are looking for an experienced individual who is reliable, customer focused, and a team player.
