The payroll and pensions assistant will assist the payroll team in the day-to-day running of the Payroll Office, playing a key role in ensuring all staff members of the University are paid accurately, in timely manner and in line with university policies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate input of payroll and pension information within the university HR and Payroll system; ResourceLink, along with monitoring the payroll inbox and efficiently responding to both payroll and pension queries via email, person and telephone.
This role is a 0.6 FTE to be worked over 3 days. Flexibility around days to be worked, although the ideal candidate would be available every Thursday and Friday as a minimum. The anticipated start date for this post will be January 2025 with flexibility to start earlier.
Hybrid working arrangements can be supported for this role in line with business need.
