Full Job Description

  • Assisting with the preparation of weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Filing and other clerical tasks
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Assisting with the administration of pension schemes and auto enrolment
  • Communicating effectively with clients
  • Assisting with year-end processing
  • Assisting with PAYE/NI reconciliations
  • Assisting with the processing of statutory sick pay, and statutory maternity and paternity pay
  • Assisting with payroll corrections

    We are currently looking for a full-time Payroll Processor to support our Worthing based team. This opportunity may suit someone who has limited experience in payroll. Experience in a professional services environment would be an advantage, however training will be given., A basic knowledge of payroll
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good team player
  • Able to follow established policies and procedures
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • The confidence to communicate effectively, initially with colleagues and later with Clients
  • To be able work within the existing structure of the team
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good numeracy skills ideally with GCSE Maths at least grade C or equivalent
