Full Job Description

Central North Leeds Primary Care Network (PCN) are looking to expand their pharmacy team, working at the heart of the PCN to deliver excellent pharmacy-led services to our population. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join our established team, to work alongside and provide complementary skills to our existing clinical teams, whilst building strong effective working relationships to improve care and services to our patients., You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to:

  • Work with practices enabling them to develop and apply systems for safer prescribing
  • Develop good relationships between local community pharmacies and the PCN pharmacy team
  • Develop and deliver medicines-related training for primary care colleagues
  • Deal with management of medicines on transfer of care
  • Connect and communicate well with people who take medications, keeping them at the heart of the service you offer and enabling them to understand and manage their condition and their medicines effectively for themselves
  • Address health inequalities and proactively reach people from all communities

    Applications are welcome from pharmacy technicians with patient-facing experience from any sector. An evidenced interest in working in general practice is essential.
