PCN Pharmacy Technician - MAT cover

Morley and District Primary Care Network are recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join our Team covering a maternity period.

This is a new and exciting role, and will help shape and form the layout of our local healthcare offer in Morley, Leeds.

The suitable candidate should be passionate about making a difference in primary care and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across services.

Duties will include dealing with prescription queries, synchronisation of repeat medications, processing discharge summaries/clinic letters, supporting project development of the services, undertaking clinical audits and promoting best prescribing practice within the surgeries where they are based. The post holder will work as part of a growing team of health care professionals across the seven practices in Morley and District to deliver health and medicines optimisation interventions at a neighbourhood population level., The candidate will be expected to take a lead role in supporting the PCN Pharmacy Team and our member practices.

We are a 6 practice PCN with approximately 65,000 patients. We are rapidly developing our multi-disciplinary workforce, embedding our roles, developing our team that makes a real difference to our patients and our practices.
