experiencing common mental health conditions - using your own life experience of mental distress and recovery as a template.

The successful candidate will also access Health Coaching Training Level 1 & 2 accredited by the Personalised Care Institute
(PCI). In addition, we offer a 40-hour Peer Support training experience delivered and accredited by ImROC. This opportunity offers
the successful candidate a supportive environment to explore and adopt the peer support values and principles and understand the
practical skills required of a peer support coach.

What we need from you

  • You have lived experience of mental health issues and personal recovery

  • You can work with people who face a range of barriers and social issues

  • You can coach people (one-to-one and in groups) to help them achieve their goals

  • You thrive on building effective working relationships with partners and colleagues

  • You can manage a caseload of clients and keep our database records up to date

  • You will need an enhanced level DBS check for this role.

  • An annual salary of £23,893 (NJC SCP 6)

  • A fixed term, 35 hours per week contract
