Full Job Description

As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, drawing on your lived experience to connect with and inspire others. You will provide compassionate, non-judgemental support, and advocate for those who need help accessing essential services such as accommodation, healthcare, and food. This role also includes mentorship responsibilities. You will guide trainees participating in our peer support training programme, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to support people in crisis. Peer support plays a vital role in breaking down barriers and fostering strong therapeutic relationships based on trust and shared experiences. You will work closely with our Wellbeing Liaison Team and external services to help clients navigate their recovery journey.
