Full Job Description

  • Responsible for processing a full range of payroll & pension services including year-end
  • Responsible for advising on company policies, procedures, contractual terms and conditions including rates of pay and employee benefits
  • Action all monthly pension data submissions, including leavers forms on the allocated schemes
  • Action employee, manager, and provider queries and ensure response times are adhered to
  • Ensure compliance with current statutory regulations; keep current with legislative changes. such as statutory benefits payments, tax, national insurance National Minimum wage, working time directive, right to work, GDPR
  • Carry out manual calculations that are required as part of your role, such as overtime payments, gross to net, advance payments
  • Keeping up to date on all pension regulatory changes and individual provider variations
  • Ensure all source documentation is filed according to the internal process and available for auditing purposes
  • Helping to resolve complex or controversial issues that may arise with individual pension claims.

    Strong knowledge of UK Payroll and Pension Regulation
  • Previous experience working in payroll and pension officer role
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT and Microsoft Office Skills and administration skills
  • Excellent literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Resilient, even under pressure
