Full Job Description

Reporting into the Head of RMCPP Executive you will partner with the In- House executive team to achieve short-term business targets and the longer-term strategy. You will also:

  • Research, write and deliver papers to the Trustee and produce Management Information reports.
  • Liaise with key advisers and service providers to deliver effective meetings.
  • Monitor the receipt of weekly and monthly contributions, including reconciliation and resolution of issues.
  • Process and record invoices within the Plan's accounting records.
  • Monthly NAV checks.
  • Take ownership for all accounting for the Plan which includes investments, contributions, expenses, debtors, creditors, VAT and balances provided by the Plan's administrator.
  • Input journals into the accounting system, produce monthly reconciliations including a reconciliation of monthly cash movements and cash balances.
  • Produce the full year end accounts including disclosures for the Plan.

We are looking for Pensions Accountant to join our in-House Executive team which is dedicated to supporting the pension scheme Trustee., To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:
  • Fully or part qualified accountant (e.g. ACC, ACA, CIMA etc)
  • At least 4 years' experience in financial accounting
  • Advanced experience in using Excel.
  • Audit background is desirable.
  • Experience in VAT returns is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
