Full Job Description

This is an exciting time to join Warwickshire County Council as a Pensions Assistant for the Warwickshire LGPS Pension Fund. Our already high-performing Pensions Administration Service is poised and ready to take on new challenges, including upcoming government projects and regulatory changes, and to take advantage of new technology and digital solutions to ensure excellent service to scheme members and employers alike., Warwickshire are looking for 3 new pension assistants to work within the pension service.

Previous experience of working in a pension environment is desirable but not essential as full training for the role will be provided. Key Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs (A - C) or equivalent including Maths and English
  • Orderly and meticulous approach to work with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to deal sympathetically with members, pensioners and beneficiaries
  • Commitment to service improvement, with a positive attitude to change and to act as a role model for other team members

    Warwickshire Pension Fund provide the administration for the Warwickshire Local Government Pension Scheme, to approx. 200 employers.
