Full Job Description
We currently have an opportunity to join the Pensions & Payroll Team. As a Pensions & Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time., Working collaboratively with HR and Finance to ensure all processes result in correct pay. You will work on the University's Payroll system Oracle to process monthly salaries. You will have experience of performing manual tax and NI calculations to deal with employee queries. You will also have exposure to company pension schemes to deal with pension queries. You will have experience of calculating Maternity/Paternity pay. You will be responsible for dealing with queries along with the team through the Payroll helpdesk and via internal telephone system. You will also be responsible for assessing employment tax status for new employees/suppliers.
