Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CBRE's UK People Team providing efficient, generalist Advisory and Payroll Support. You will work as part of the Advisor team, reporting into the People Business Partner, to support specific service lines and its employees.,
- Provide day to day HR support to employees and managers - first line point of contact for all general queries
- Provide advisory support to one Service Line
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees of all levels
- Advise and coach line managers and employees on policies and procedures
- Employee Relations case work, including grievances, disciplinaries, TUPE and mediation. Note taker for more complex cases.
- Management of redundancies and dismissals
- Own recruitment procedure within the Service Line, including approvals process and coaching managers
- Advise and coach line managers on performance management, including support with Performance Improvement Plans, guidance on appraisal process and assist with training delivery to managers
- Coach and support managers and employees on career management and employee development for support and more junior staff
- Processing leaver information, including organising and carrying out exit interviews
- Maintaining the data in myHR (Peoplesoft) and undertaking any data validation for the Service Lines
- Conduct progress discussions with new starters
- Prepare monthly reports for service line Operations and Executive Boards
- Play a key part on the service line's Junior Board, owning change projects where appropriate
- Carry out maternity/paternity leave administration including meetings, risk assessments and flexible working requests
- Management of work permit applications, renewals and queries
- Service Line Next Generation contact - assisting with recruitment, development and marketing of the service line
- Management of persistent short term absence and long term absence, including communication with GP/Occupational Health and working in line with managers to provide solutions
- Update and maintain the People Intranet and e-recruitment system
- Provide support in annual People processes, such as salary review, bonus review, promotions, appraisals and other project work
- Provide cover for other People Advisors in department
- General contribution to the People Department with maintenance of policies & procedures and contribution to wider UK business initiatives
- Ad hoc projects and duties as and when required
