Why Join KPMG as a People Centre Senior Advisor As a Senior People Centre Advisor within the Employee Lifecycle team, you will be supporting the day-to-day activities within People Centre that support end to end Talent and PD activity within Employee Lifecycle team both within KPMG and with our partners EXL. The ideal applicant will ideally have knowledge around the following key areas; Talent & PD Administration, Lifecycle of Employees, demonstrative experience of working on multiple projects concurrently. This role will entail close working with other stakeholders within the Talent and PD activity including People Operations teams, HRBPs and liaising across the business with key stakeholders including People Leaders, Immigration and Payroll. You will be perceived as proactive, credible and accountable. You will be required to be the first escalation point from the business and also support our teams to ensure all queries are dealt with effectively. What will you be doing?

  • Manage Year End activity, including Calibration, MyPerformance queries and attending forums
  • Perform quality assurance on reporting generated to support activity, identifying error trends and designing refresher workshops to address problem areas
  • Take ownership and become an expert of an agreed process or group of processes and be responsible for ensuring they are executed consistently across the team sharing skills and knowledge through coaching sessions and training workshops and continuously reviewing your agreed process(es), recommending and implementing improvements
  • Adhere to all Service Level Agreements for agreed process(es) and highlight issues to the Team Leader
  • Maintain strong working relationships with relevant internal and external parties, liaising with them about changes and improvements
  • Deal with complex queries, advising on complex policy matters and escalated queries.
  • Drafting non-standard and updating standard communications as agreed in line with policy and cascade information to the team for areas of responsibility.
  • Take a proactive approach to educating and supporting Talent team members with queries
  • Take responsibility for ad-hoc project work and processes as and when required by the People Centre Manager and Team Leaders

    An ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels.
  • High levels of resilience, with experience of working in a highly pressurised customer centric environment.
  • The ability to take a logical, systematic, coherent approach to issues. Thinking outside of the box and weighing up all options available to make an informed decision.
  • Excellent communicator - written and verbal.
  • The ability to influence and confidently negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong organisational, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good IT office proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc. as well as SAP or equivalent HR system.
