We're looking for a People Change Advisor to join us in Bradford on full-time , 9 month FTC basis. To deliver high quality and consistent People Change Advice, support and resolution to all colleagues, people managers and external parties across the end to end colleague lifecycle spectrum, through the application of People/Shared Services policies and procedures with the purpose of making LGSSC a great place to work and delivering a great experience to our employees, in a way that improves their effectiveness day to day. Liberty Global Shared Service Centre (LGSSC) acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with specialisms in areas of Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems. This central team supports a number of businesses across the Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media. What will you be doing? Performance and Customer Services Delivery

  • Deliver a quality, consistent, compliant and professional service to VMO2 Colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Supporting Managers & colleagues through organisational change management particularly relating to TUPE, restructures and redundancies.
  • Producing redundancy calculations and other exit costs and preparing exit documentation, namely settlement agreements and final schedules for exiting colleagues.
  • Advanced experience with reporting, databases and excel, lookups and pivot tables.
  • Processing invoices through the appropriate channel, following colleague exits
  • Resolve day to day colleague and line manager service enquiries, issues and complaints, identifying and escalating any issues and incidents as appropriate
  • Supporting line managers and colleagues with generalist people support including pay and redundancy queries.
  • Preparing, reconciling and processing payroll files via the appropriate channel.
  • Ensure that all colleague data is entered into associated Employee Services systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, to agreed standards and targets
  • Create and maintain documents, records and data to agreed procedures and standards
  • Ensure the contact management system reflects the nature of the query to ensure a high level of People/Shared Service satisfaction
  • Action workflow requests in a timely and consistent manner
  • Liaise with colleagues, managers, people team as required and to ensure smooth operation of transactional services and advice
  • Ensure a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work
  • Process Management
  • Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed People/Shared Service processes are understood by colleagues and people team, rectifying any non-conformances and making approved amendments where necessary
  • Effectively process pay data, documentation and information and instruct payroll accordingly to
  • ensure timely and accurate production of the payrolls.
  • Deal with and comply with statutory obligations under PAYE and pensions as required.

  • Understand the needs of colleagues, line managers and people team (internal and external) and continuously seek to improve people service
  • Understand all relevant performance indicators and use performance information to continually improve services
  • Contribute towards the overall LGSSC strategy, with a view to identify means of improving performance. Assist in reviewing business processes as necessary.

    An understanding of redundancy and TUPE processes
  • Experience in change management and producing redundancy costs and exit documents. Advanced experience with reporting, databases and excel, lookups and pivot tables.

  • L3 CIPD qualification or above (desirable)
