Full Job Description

Reporting to the People Director this role will be responsible for a designated client group, working closely with senior leaders to support the delivery of a proactive people strategy. The Business Partner will apply HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the Business Unit / Service Line leadership team supporting business changes, cyclical activities, people development and all transactional and advisory support. What you'll be doing :

  • Client Group support : Responsible for a range of actions and activities for a client group, supporting the business.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key business stakeholders across multiple teams and regions.
  • Build trust and become an active member of client group leadership teams, driving the People & Culture agenda, and providing direction on business initiatives, operational best practices, and change management.
  • Leading and advising senior leaders on key organisational people change management initiatives (organisation culture change, business process re-engineering, reorganisations, organisational design).
  • Collaborate with COEs teams to support and execute programs in employee engagement, career paths, succession planning, performance assessments, compensation planning, recruiting, and retention.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Partner with managers on performance management cases.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation on policies.

    Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Ability to champion and drive organisational change within designated client group
  • Experience of working with Sales / Client Facing business
  • Ability to find solutions to move things forward in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Influencing skills; you must be able to influence senior managers within the business
  • Personable, collaborative and engaging, ambitious to succeed in a fast paced business environment
  • First class communication and presentation skills
  • Expert ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Broad understanding of the P&C landscape including legal implications
  • Credible and able to flex style to suit situations and individuals
  • Nice to have : Professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) / other recognised or equivalent experience AND experience of supporting organisation's transformations
