Full Job Description

The successful candidate will design and implement a Snowflake data model for employee data, with an emphasis on creating a star schema. This role requires collaboration with data analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability. How you'll help us make health happen:
- Design and develop Snowflake data models, specifically focusing on employee data.
- Create and optimise star schema structures to support efficient data querying and reporting.
- Collaborate with data analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement data pipelines to load and transform data into Snowflake.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
- Monitor and optimise Snowflake performance, including query optimisation and resource management.
- Document data models, processes, and best practices.
- Maintains broad knowledge of digital technology, reporting services and provides expert advice regarding their application.
Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer or similar role. - Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, particularly star schema design.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of data governance and security principles.
