Full Job Description
Responsible for providing efficient and effective HR support, the People Generalist will be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, ensuring smooth operations and timely assistance. From handling daily administration to offering generalist support, you will keep everything running seamlessly. What you'll be doing... Reporting to the Senior People Generalist, you will:
- Oversee the employee lifecycle by ensuring the timely and accurate administration of all policies, procedures, and communications, while maintaining up-to-date People systems, records, and employee files.
- Manage all onboarding processes, including new hire orientation, including Day 1 sessions, exit interviews, and accurate data entry into the HRIS, ensuring compliance and accuracy through regular audits.
- Prepare and administer important People documentation, including employment contracts, contract variation letters, and policies.
- Assist the People department in implementing initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
- Help administer company benefits.
- Contribute to the development of People goals by providing insights on metrics, queries, and generating standard reports to meet our needs.
- Provide support in areas such as absence management, probation reviews, colleague inquiries, and parental leave requests.
Experience with various HR software systems, ideally Dayforce - Organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive mindset
- Team-oriented with collaboration skills
- HR degree and/or CIPD qualification
- Understanding of HR fundamentals, including contractual documentation
- High level of attention to detail, with accuracy being a key focus
- Passionate and committed about their role and dedicated to delivering exceptional service

The expected range for this role is £25,000 - £28,000 This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
