Full Job Description

  • People administration duties across a range of People activities including data management and reporting, compliance, and general people administration

  • Recruitment and on-boarding administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures, particularly regarding safer recruiting

  • The maintenance of the Single Central Record, personnel files, and training records for your assigned school

  • Acting as a first point of contact for people related queries, ensuring high levels of confidentiality.


  • The successful candidate will work 15 hours a week, 8.30am - 2pm, (including a 30-minute unpaid break) Monday, Wednesday and Friday with flexibility required to support OFSTED on a Tuesday if required. As a flexible employer, we are happy to discuss flexible working patterns at interview.

    We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and flexible part time People Administrator to work at Springfield Primary School and Nursery.,
  • A good awareness and understanding of people administration, to ensure compliance with regulation and procedures

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, including the ability to form rapport and build good working relationships with others

  • Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative


  • A relevant HR qualification equivalent to Level 3 (Foundation Certificate in People Practice) would be advantageous, as would experience of working within a school environment, but neither are essential.
