Full Job Description

The People function are looking for an experienced operational People/HR Manager/Business Partner for a 12-month fixed term period to cover maternity leave.

This means you will work with identified Business Unit teams building strong relationships with managers and staff at all levels to support delivery of safe and high-quality patient care and workforce management support.

We are looking for someone with significant experience of working in an operational HR capacity supporting on a full range of HR issues and managing a team. Medical staffing experience would be highly desirable. You will have the interpersonal skills to build credible relationships with managers, staff, clinicians and staff side colleagues and show you can influence at a senior level to make effective decisions. The role involves leading Trust-wide project work so you must be able to demonstrate your experience in this area., · Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent

· Highly developed specialist knowledge of employment legislation, good People/HR practice and policies and procedures gained via substantial previous experience of working in an People/HR environment.

· A sound knowledge of staff management techniques in order to manage own staff and be able to advise managers to address their own issues., Disability Confident
