Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual to join our team as a People Operations Advisor for a 12-month maternity cover. This role will support and coordinate systems and projects within the People Operations team and manage the day-to-day data and reporting activities. What You'll Do

  • Run a variety of ad hoc reports, presenting data in a clear and effective way with the end user in mind.
  • Support with high volume annual business activity e.g. salary review and headcount planning.
  • Manage the completion of both internal and external audits, ensuring completion of any corrective actions.
  • Produce data decks for the leadership team, identifying patterns and trends to support strategic decision making eg. Attrition deck and engagement survey
  • Maintain all reporting suites across the people system infrastructure, controlling access, permissions and data integrity.
  • Be a super user for all people systems, supporting the wider people team as the escalation point for end user issues and fixes.
  • Play a key role in the implementation of the new HR system including preparation of data, active involvement in set up and user acceptance testing. Supporting with the training and role out to the business.
  • Identify and engage stakeholders in the system change, running workshops and design sessions to elicit requirements.
  • Prepare functional specifications and process documentation, working with the CoE/technical teams to identify and document solutions.
  • Define and execute a test plan for system changes.
  • Be a champion of innovation and process improvement, finding new tools and ways of working.
  • Troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner, minimising impact with appropriate corrective action.
  • To maintain the relationship with 3rd party IT teams to ensure timely execution of changes.

    Experience within a fast paced and busy People function preferable.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to support/manage large-scale system changes and small operational changes.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage a demanding workload on a daily basis.
  • SAP HCM (or similar system) experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Very strong Excel skills, including advanced formula skills and data manipulation - please note these may be tested as part of the selection process.
  • Good communication skills written and verbal to all levels of employees.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of information
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
