Walr is looking for a People Operations Manager to join its dynamic team and contribute to fostering a positive work environment. We are building a team of world-class talent and are looking for an organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders. You will manage our full employee life cycle, including onboarding, internal operations and employee experience supporting our people based in Europe and North America.

  • Reporting directly to the Head of People, you'll spearhead a variety of People Operations programs, covering everything from Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition to Compliance, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits.


  • Oversee both internal recruitment efforts and external agency partnerships, ensuring a steady pipeline of top-tier talent and maintaining a delightful candidate experience.


  • Work hand-in-hand with the wider People Team and other key stakeholders to design, implement, and refine people programs and processes that enhance the employee experience.


  • Build and nurture relationships with employees and cross-functional partners, ensuring seamless collaboration, support, and alignment in all aspects of people operations.


  • Keep abreast local and global employment laws and regulations, ensuring our people practices meet or exceed compliance and privacy standards.


  • Conduct thorough audits of our processes to ensure we're always in line with laws, privacy standards, and regulations such as ISO.


  • Develop and manage programs for global mobility, employment compliance, and policy maintenance, ensuring our handbooks are always up-to-date.


  • In collaboration with the wider team, provide guidance to management and employees on a range of employment relation matters, from handling employee escalations to managing performance, benefits and rewards.


  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, in collaboration with our external hiring partners with support of our people coordinator.


  • Management of our payroll and our dedicated liaison for EoRs on all people matters.

    Significant experience working in a global company with a proven track record in a similar role.


  • Experience supporting US teams with a strong understanding of US employment practices.


  • Proficient in managing HRIS systems with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships while effectively supporting & coaching stakeholders at all levels.


  • A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.


  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.


  • Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of a startup environment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
