An opportunity has risen in our London and Brentwood office for a People Operations Manager to join our growing team, We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented People Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our HR systems, processes, and workflows. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our People function, including managing the HR system, employee self-service processes, payroll bureau relationship, and providing management information to support business decisions., HR System & Self-Service Process Management:

  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and management of the HR system to ensure smooth functioning of HR operations.
  • Manage and enhance employee self-service portals, ensuring user-friendly processes for leave, attendance, benefits, and other HR services.
  • Maintain data integrity within the HR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Payroll Bureau Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and the external payroll bureau.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with regulations by overseeing the processing, coordination, and auditing of payroll data.
  • Address any payroll-related issues and work with the payroll bureau to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Workflow & Process Optimization:
  • Review and reengineer all HR process workflows end to end, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
  • Continuously improve HR processes to enhance employee experience and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation.
  • Team Leadership & Administration:
  • Manage a team of HR administrators, ensuring that all administrative HR functions (onboarding, record-keeping, benefits administration, etc.) are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and support to administrators on handling day-to-day tasks and resolving issues.
  • Management Information & Decision Support:
  • Create and maintain accurate and insightful HR management reports and dashboards, such as turnover, absence rates, and other key HR metrics.
  • Analyse HR data and trends to provide insights that support business decisions and workforce planning.
  • Present findings to leadership teams and provide actionable recommendations for business growth and efficiency.
  • Provide regular dashboard updates for Operational Board and Locations.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure HR operations are compliant with legal requirements and company policies
  • Ensure People Policies are updated liaising with relevant team members
  • Review all policies to ensure compliance with bank panel requirements
  • Drive initiatives around diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in People Operations, be highly process-driven, and exhibit exceptional attention to detail. You will also manage a team of 2 administrators and work closely with senior leadership to ensure that HR operations align with the company's strategic goals., Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR roles with a strong focus on HR systems, process management, and data analytics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, workflows, and compliance, with a proven ability to manage payroll processes and external vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a team and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with HR software (e.g., XD (Access) Workday, BambooHR) and reporting tools.
  • Experience managing payroll through a payroll bureau.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
