Two years ago, our revenue was 66m and we were a team of 140. Last year our revenue grew 5-fold to 325m and we now have a headcount of 275, alongside 50+ live vacancies across our teams to meet growing and evolving projects. What got us here as a business (as well as in the people team) needs to evolve to enable the pace and successful scale of growth. We are transforming into a proactive, relationship and impact-focussed, business aligned and data-driven People team with a new team structure and roles. We are looking for someone to lead the newly formed People Operations function; ensuring tracking and recording of each stage of the employee journey, ongoing strengthening of the experience at each stage through process flow management and for business efficiency. You can bring your expertise from fast growing tech or innovative organisations to help us scale and grow our approach to people data and employee journey experience in pace with the incredible industry growth. As AVK grows, this role plays a critical role in the diligent management of employee lifecycles outside as well as within the UK, including tracking of legal requirements for each of the lifecycle stages. Reporting directly to the VP of People, you will play a key role in enabling efficiencies of scale as we grow and driving engagement in new processes and systems with employees and managers alike. Key Responsibilities: Data Management & Employee Journey Touchpoint Management (50%)

  • Owning and maturing the HRIS- Bob. Growing this to infant stage and beyond as single source of employee data truth through and with the People Ops Coordinator.
  • Developing accurate and insightful reporting for People Team and managers.
  • Ensuring employee journeys are effectively built in HRIS (Bob) and moments of truth are positive experiences for employees (users).
  • Driving engagement with Bob as internal employee tool for comms and data/ employee journey navigation in partnership with Internal Comms & Culture lead.
  • European Expansion (25%)
  • Map external to UK employee lifecycle requirements according to location legalities and practicalities including Germany, Holland and Spain.
  • Evaluate use of Employers of Record and own relationships if implemented.
  • Grow with a tech-enabled focus; leveraging Bob and other tech to enable pace and efficiency with workforce needs and preferences.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding (15%)
  • Streamline onboarding into Bob workflows and automate >80% of processes through its' use.
  • Enable onboarding within 2 weeks, meeting all compliance to be conducted i.e. onsite engineer requirement compliance checks, Right To Work checks, PPE provision etc
  • Collaboration with People Partners & Managers (10%)
  • Enable effective partnering through regular and accurate data reporting on the employee lifecycle e.g. performance, absence, development, promotions etc
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Keeping up to speed with developments in tech: that could enable improved employee experience/ efficient data management.

    HRIS Expertise: Strong knowledge of HRIS: Bob. Ability to max out the functionality and facilitate maximum automation while ensuring a great employee/ manager= user experience.

  • Innovation & Iteration Focussed: Embraces the future, improved view, whilst navigating the steps from today's approach.
  • Data-Fluency: Speaks data to explain trends, areas to be considered or addressed as well as to enable consideration of options. Acute focus on accuracy of data.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to ensure improvements are implemented to deadlines agreed.
