As our People and Payroll Manager, you will be a meticulous, organi s ed, and diligent leader who ensures seamless payroll operations and people compliance for all Incipi o .

Your experience :

Managing relationships with third party payroll and pension vendors .

Managing all HMRC statutory payments and remittances .

Managing payroll year-end tasks and reconciling month-end GL / nominal codes (Desirable).

Completion of Payroll Journals.

Handling all payroll and benefits queries .

Project support alongside business as usual .

Adhering and staying up to date with all Payroll and HR Legislation .

Managing all compliance checks as well as maintaining compliance documentation .

Intermediate Advance Excel skill (Must) .

CIPD level five (Desirable).

General role responsi bi lities :

Payroll

Manage end-to-end payroll processing with third-party support.

Track people and payroll changes, including starters, leavers, and movements, along with associated profit and loss costs .

Manage remittance and ownership of all statutory payments, including Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, PAYE, and National Insurance.

Manage the relationship with the pension provider, including monthly pension uploads, direct debit reconciliation, pension communication, and re-enrolments.

Complete payroll year-end tasks and reconcile month-end GL codes - wages, PAYE, b enefits, d eduction orders and pension accounts .

Support finance with labour forecasting / analysis when necessary .

People compliance

Ensure that all human resource documents are current and compliant with existing employment laws. Regularly update templates and processes to ensure scalability and adherence to legal requirements.

Conduct quarterly compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Stay informed about developments in human resource legislation to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.

People Administration

Assist with updating company p olices and documents .

Template creation for HR letters for managers and employees.

First point of response for all HR venue q ueries with guidance on correct process and internal policies.

Work to continuously eleva te compensation and benefits at Incipio.

Support with the maintenance of our People Platform and execute projects set out by the People Director .

Reporting and Ad hoc

Supporting the wider People team by assisting with administrative duties .

Holiday allowance s :

Distribute m onthly for Operations Manager and Director .

Distribute q uarterly for General Managers and HQ Line Managers.

Develop and implement scalable process es for business growth.

Report ing and analysis for the People team and Director.
