Full Job Description

As a People Relations Advisor you will be responsible for supporting Entain's people managers in multiple locations and jurisdictions, to manage people effectively and minimise both reputational and monetary risk within our business. Through effective advice and case management, you'll be responsible for ensuring our managers conduct all employee relations matters with a fair and consistent approach and in line with local legislation, along with building key relationships and promoting a positive employee relations culture within our business. Reporting to the Global People Relations Team Leader you will be part of the People and Culture Team, who provides vital support to the 20,000 strong retail estate, offering advice and guidance on all employee relation queries. It is the perfect role for someone looking to grow their People Relations knowledge within a fast paced and complex environment. This role is the perfect springboard to other HR opportunities within our business. What you will do

  • Managing all medium and high risk People Relations cases to resolution. This will include drafting all correspondence relating to the case, providing telephone advice throughout the process and, with the support of the Coordinator, completing all associated administration.
  • Delivering effective coaching and development to line managers resulting in a positive impact on business performance and preventing a re-occurrence of issues.
  • Ensuring the HR systems, case management tools and employee files are accurate, up to date and reflect advice given, action taken and that the paperwork has been sent in a timely manner eg invite, outcome, appeals.
  • Supporting the wider HR team, with all escalated matters to help determine the best course of action, ensuring that high-risk cases are quickly identified and escalated to the Global People Relations Team Leader.
  • Addressing issues of line manager non-compliance in relation to HR policy, process, procedure and employment law.
  • Managing long-term absence cases including the preparation and production of MI reports and making meaningful interventions to ensure all cases are dealt with in a reasonable and timely manner.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly reports on volumes, trends. Identifying opportunities, and putting forward recommendations, for continuous improvement eg to existing policies, processes, procedures and line manager training.
  • Identifying skills/knowledge gaps and support in the delivery of interventions, such as workshops and coaching

    Experienced HR Generalist or People Relations specialist
  • Ability to understand, interpret HR policies, processes and procedures and use these to advise line managers when dealing with complex People Relations cases
  • Up to date employment law and best practice HR knowledge
  • Experienced in delivering coaching, training and development interventions to raise line manager capability
