Hours: Monday-Friday 09:30-13:30 - 20 hours per week

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Security ID administration

  • + Administer pass applications - landside and airside in line with CAA and airport regulations
    + Monitor pass expiry and escalate expiring passes to relevant stakeholders
    + Conduct security interviews in line with pass application process
  • Vetting

  • + Conduct all pre-employment vetting for new starters in line with DHL and CAA vetting policies
    + Review agency worker vetting files for compliance

  • Additional HR Administrative duties:

  • + First point of contact for HR admin queries (e.g., change of T&C's, leavers, new starter administration)
    + Manage the HR inbox responding to queries within the agreed SLA
    + Action all employee change details
    + Administer employees sickness records and doctors notes
    + Run DBS reports, spot check and escalate to departmental senior supervisor and manager
    + Administer paternity leave
    + Review and update SOPs
    + Provide employment references
    + Administer HR system changes
    + Upload all documentation to GIA
    + Process HR invoices
  • Safety

  • + All employees are responsible for their own health, safety, and wellbeing, and for the health & safety of their colleagues who may be affected by their actions or failure to take action.
    + You are expected to report all accidents, near misses and hazards in the workplace.
    + You must follow the relevant safe systems of work and ensure that the correct PPE is always worn.

    You'll bring to this role:
  • Previous experience administering airport security passes - Desirable

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong IT literacy including Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel

  • A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
