We are seeking an autonomous and dynamic Human Resources Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will support both the Senior Manager People Services Transformation and Senior Manager Learning and Development and OD in delivering efficient and effective workforce-related initiatives and transformational projects within the ICB as well as the wider system

Main duties of the job

Collaborate with the Senior Manager Learning and Development and OD to deliver planned and unplanned projects, including large-scale management of change and organisational transformation initiatives.

Design and facilitate bespoke Organisational Development (OD) interventions, ensuring evidence-based approaches and tangible benefits.

Provide routine and non-routine OD support, using judgement skills and escalating matters when necessary.

Offer expert advice and guidance on Learning and Development options available to ICB managers and employees from local, system, regional, and national organisations.

Develop and implement best practice HR/People strategy, policy, and practice.

Provide specialist advice on all aspects of Human Resources and the NHS workforce agenda.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting collaborative partnership working and innovation in HR and People services.

Lead a range of diverse People projects and programmes of work to help deliver the People agenda

NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning and arranging the provision of NHS services to meet the diverse health needs of a population of 1.7 million people. Our area reaches over 1,500 square miles and includes the cities of Hull and York and the large rural areas across East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. The ICB is part of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, one of 42 Integrated Care Systems (ICS) across England to meet health and care needs, coordinate services and plan in a way that improves population health and reduces inequality between groups. The Health and Care Partnership comprises of NHS organisations, local councils, health and care providers and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
