Full Job Description
We now have an excellent opportunity for a Performance Analyst focusing on Vulnerable Children to join our small and friendly Performance, Intelligence & Insight team - with the chance to progress, shape and challenge our service. In this key position, you will provide performance data and analysis to Children's Social Care colleagues, senior managers, elected members, partners and the Department of Education. This will include collecting and processing data across all areas of vulnerable children including Early Help, Social Care and Community Health Services to support and improve the delivery and planning of those support services. Working in collaboration with other vulnerable children's analysts, the aim is to provide high quality, timely professional data analysis to inform and improve outcomes for children, young people and families. You will get the opportunity to utilise a range of skills in data collection, analysis and presentation. This information will allow social care and health professionals and commissioners to improve outcomes for children, young people and families in helping them thrive and stay safe. - You'll have a fascination with data, how it can be used to measure performance and help services improve. You'll also have a desire to utilise performance to improve outcomes for Swindon residents.
- You will be able to evidence that you have strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills. You will also have previous experience of working with data and statistics in an analytical capacity.
- You will require an eye for detail with a strong customer service focus. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will ensure that our service standards remain high. This role is 37 hours per week but we operate an agile working policy, allowing you to manage your own diary and work flexibly, including off-site/remote working. You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act - for the effective performance of a customer-facing role)., Potential applicants are sometimes put off if they don't meet 100% of the requirements.
