Full Job Description
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a for the Performance and Assurance manager to join our Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) team in Leicestershire for a full-time 12 month fixed term contract. You will be leading on the work of the wider performance team, providing independent support and advice to the Police and Crime Commissioner and members of the OPCC to support in the oversight and scrutiny of the Leicestershire Police Force and other providers in the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan Priorities.,
- Support the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and Management Team in the delivery of strategic performance products and meetings.
- Develop and monitor annual objectives and targets for the scrutiny work, provide monthly monitoring data and prepare annual reports.
- Line management of the Performance and Assurance team, ensuring they have clear objectives and are supported to meet these, including coaching.
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or have experience working in an assurance or research environment, interpreting data analysis or research work. - Experience of analysing and presenting information in a range of formats, interpreting policy, reports, research and advising on specific issues, ensuring exposure to risk is highlighted.
- Good organisational and time management skills, taking a proactive approach, recognising, and responding to the need for change.
