Full Job Description

We are looking for a Performance and Improvement Manager to take a lead on the performance and quality assurance across Children and Education Service, the wider Council and within the Early Help Partnership. This will include playing a key role in the delivery of the national Supporting Families programme.

As Performance and Improvement Manager, you will champion inclusivity and diversity in the delivery of high-quality support to children, young people, and families.

You will be responsible for leading on the review and analysis of findings from case recording and practice which support the evidence of good outcomes for children and their families focusing on the impact of the help and support offered.

You will work alongside leaders to identifying service gaps, good practice and trends and patterns that can be fed back into strategic planning.

You will also have responsibility for the line management of the Supporting Families Practice and Performance team

You'll play a pivotal role in the development and alignment of the offer to families across a range of services and agencies with the processes and requirements of the national Supporting Families programme, creating an environment where every family feels valued and supported.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence and make a positive impact in our diverse communities, ensuring that children young people and families individual needs are met.

Initially, this role is for a fixed period until March 2025, in line with current funding arrangements.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
