As part of the Strategic Planning Team, you'll be responsible for supporting the performance improvement agenda across all Strategic Planning teams by working closely with the Performance & Innovation Lead. You'll support the assessment of the strategic 10-year plan of outages against regulatory and strategic commitments, assisting the run of transformation scenario analyses, providing insights to wider NGET stakeholders. Identifying and implementing performance improvement initiatives for both the Planning Team and the wider business, you'll identify all levels of improvements ranging from ways of working within teams to significant business direction shifts. You'll carry out transformation initiatives to support Strategic change, supporting "big picture thinking", engaging with Long-Term planners to understand future issues and concerns which need to be addressed. This role is based out of our offices in Warwick and this can be combined with hybrid working from home.

With a background in transformation or continuous improvement, you'll have the ability to think strategically, long term to deliver business improvement projects. You'll have a strong drive for continuous improvement in all aspects of work, coupled with enhanced stakeholder engagement skills. With the ability to compile data and reports, to assess results against defined KPIs, you'll ideally have a degree or qualification in a STEM subject or a related field.

At National Grid, we work towards the highest standards in everything we do, including how we support, value and develop our people. Our aim is to encourage and support employees to thrive and be the best they can be.
