Full Job Description

  • You'll be providing support to the leadership team to deliver our business strategy and making sure that the operating rhythm is defined and managed effectively

  • You'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also spend at least two days a week working from the office
  • What you'll do In this role, you'll be a member of the Wealth Businesses COO Performance and Business Management Team. You'll be supporting the leadership team to plan ahead and deliver our business strategy in line with our long-term goals. You'll also be overseeing and implementing bank-wide, divisional and business activities, and engagement plans, leadership team operating rhythms and the creation of papers and executive reports. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting areas across the organisation to plan and manage business support activities in relation to operational performance, efficiency, and cost to serve partnering with support functions
  • Driving Sales Management agenda, develop sales effectiveness culture, client engagement, business productivity to support business strategic ambitions
  • Maintaining knowledge of and have accountability for business insights, market insights, benchmarking and support commercial performance for the business
  • Supporting Operational performance of the business
  • Driving and implementing processes aligned to bank-wide policy and business frameworks
  • Making sure performance and business management activities are aligned to the broader bank-wide strategic agenda
  • Working in partnership with areas right across the bank in the planning and management of business support activities, projects and processes
  • Reviewing relevant MI and providing analysis of data

    We're looking for someone with financial services and banking experience and knowledge, and a strong understanding of the bank's ecosystem and its impact on customers., A track record of delivering high quality materials and outcomes at pace, with excellent attention to detail
  • Analytical skills and the ability to synthesise and simplify complex information, and to identify the key points
  • A strong understanding of the bank's approach to governance, risk management and accountabilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use information to make informed decisions and develop creative solutions
  • Adept stakeholder management and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience of working with or supporting senior leaders from across the bank
