Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Performance and Reporting Analyst to join our Spills Programme. As a key player in our team, you will work alongside Programme and Project Managers to ensure the smooth operation of the entire programme. Your role will involve capturing, tracking, and presenting crucial information that enables our team members to perform their duties effectively. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach, this role could be the perfect fit for you. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW This is a critical role within the River Health & Enhancement team, ensuring the successful delivery of Spills Programme activities to meet our spills performance targets and manage compliance risk. You will undertake performance assessments around overflow (storm and emergency) at an asset, area, and company level. Additionally, you will support the team in tracking storm overflow performance regarding spills, duration, improvement planning, and compliance risks such as dry weather flow, real-time reporting of discharges, and SOAF requirements.,
- Deliver regular reports on overflow performance, storm overflow ODI annual position, and compliance assessments; maintain the spills performance and improvement tracker.
- Support tracking and ongoing improvements across the programme to meet storm overflow spill ODI; provide analysis, insight, and management support to deliver in-year performance.
- Ensure a forward-looking view of business performance; actively challenge performance and support key operational activities.
- Manage permissions and access requests to Solutions Tracker and other databases; support the wider River Health Team as required.
You should have experience in data analysis, data analytics, identifying root causes of complex problems, developing solutions, technical report writing, and presenting findings. Proficiency in using ESRI GIS software, particularly for spatial analysis to develop catchment strategies, is essential. Additionally, developing skills in creating PowerBI systems and reporting, along with the ability to prepare monthly performance reports using various data and statistics, even when conflicting, are crucial. Experience working in a team environment and conducting assurance, audits, and health checks is also required. As travel is required, you'll have to hold a full U.K driving licence.
