Performance and Risk Analyst

We are looking for an analyst to join the performance and risk team within our Wealth Management division. You will work along side a team of analyst and wider middle office department in supporting the front office, investment team and senior management with performance measurement, attribution analysis and monitoring data as well as answering ad-hoc queries. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and work with the business to develop and improve our processes to drive efficiencies.,

• Provision of long and short term performance statistics from internal systems or first principles as appropriate.
• Provision of contribution/attribution analysis.
• Calculation of ex-post risk measures.
• Production of bespoke reporting material for clients, models and funds.
• Provision of performance and asset allocation data to third parties.
• Answer ad-hoc performance queries from the front office and investment team.
• Assist with any relevant projects including system upgrades, acquisitions and new initiatives.
• Help streamline process and writing procedural documentation.
  
  1-3yr experience in a performance or similar role
• A strong mathematical background
• Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
• An interest in Wealth Management
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• Experience with VBA in Excel
• Knowledge of market data systems (LIPPER/Morningstar/DataStream)
• Knowledge of third party performance systems (Style Analytics/EIKON)
