If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.
The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. Unless exempt, we encourage and support staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19., We are looking for a band 8a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service in Cornwall.

You will be joining a supportive multi-disciplinary team made up of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychological Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Nursery Nurses, Health Visitors, a Midwife and Peer Support Workers. Staff wellbeing, trauma informed practice, and evidence-based care pathways are important principles that guide how the Perinatal Service works., + You will be part of an innovative and supportive Psychological Therapies team dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care, and will have responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of the psychology service.

As we are able to support staff to undertake specialist training in perinatal mental health, lack of previous experience in this specialist field need not be a barrier to applying for this post.
